Fire Ball

'Fire Ball' is an animated program from Disney.
However, it is produced in Japan. This fact isn't so well
known in Japan.

It takes place in the future far from Earth on aworld
where robots rule over the human race. The main characters
are two robots that live in a certain residence.

One robot is a duke's daughter, Dorossel. Another is
a steward, Gedehitonis. These two robots are the only
characters in this animation. And the story consists only
of these two robots having surreal conversations.

As for these conversations, Dorossel always starts by
calling and mistaking the steward's name. Each episode is
only about two minutes.

I personally very much like the communication between
these two robots. 'Fire Ball' is animation that makes
you want to see more of it.

'Fire Ball'!

Oh, this title reminds me the early masterpiece-manga of Ohtomo Kastuhiro.
It was also named 'Fire ball'(ファイアーボール) , written in late '70s.

This Ontomo's 'Fire ball'was, might-be, 30-40page's piece. This 'Fire ball' supposed to be one of the most important 'prototype' for his excellent, and famous one: 'AKIRA'(アキラ).

In my ambiguous memory of this masterpiece....

'Fire ball' has two brothers as main characters, who have potetial ESP.
'Army' or Some 'Organization' has tried to arrrest them.
And finally they got a younger one in custody.
The elder one tried to get him back, and....

You could probably find this masterpiece in his book, titled,'KANOJO NO OMOIDE'(彼女の想いで...)'{in Japanese} printed by Koudansha,Japan, in early '90s.

Ah, sorry for my too long comment in too poor English.

Thanks for your comment!!

I like Ohtomo Kastuhiro. Me,too. 'Fire ball' was drawn in 1979.
(Incidentally,I was born in 1973.)
'AKIRA'(アキラ)started on 1982.
Exactly,'Fire ball'is prototype for 'AKIRA'.
It was at August,1988 to make the movie.
Was American able to see in the same year?

I also variously recall it.
I had 'KANOJO NO OMOIDE',in past days. On this occasion,I want to read.

Sorry for my comment in too poor English.
